It's All Over!

India Are Out of The World Cup! :-(

Sri Lanka beat India by 69 runs!

When it mattered most, the highly acclaimed Indian batting stuttered, faltered and failed miserably!

A post-mortem of this (yet another) humiliating batting display by Indians will be posted on this blog soon, immediately after the emotions dry out!

Another one. I see you read PuLA. Do you have any idea if English translation is available of the same.

I have been highly recommended by my Marathi blogger friends to read this.

Thx in adv.

Hey Cuckoo,

My photos are completely amateurish, nothing in them that you should see . But still if you wish, you can see them at http://picasaweb.google.com/anusdad

Let me know if you can't see them.

About translation of Pu La, there is a popular blogger by the name of Gaurav Sabnis - he has put in efforts to actually translate some ofPu La's works, let me give you the link:
http://gauravsabnis.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

On this page, there are many posts that Gaurav has written and there are 3 posts which are translations from Pu La Deshpande's writing. You can find them by searching for string "Pu" or "deshpande".

I hope you enjoy it, but one gets the real taste and feel only if one understands marathi. I sincerely hope that you like it in English as well!

Thanks. :)

Saw the photos. They are quite beautiful. I have also started uploading some of my pictures in WebPicasa... very few of them actually. Not getting time. I am downsizing them to upload. Me too an amateur but keen to learn.

Though I have hundreds of pictures but with still camera. My interest lies there specially in B & W photography. Some of my pictures you have already seen on my other blog.

Now PuLa. Thanks for the link. Will go thru it in a day or two.
Yes, I agree reading in one's own language gives a different feel. No, I think I'll contradict myself here. I like English better than Hindi or any other language. :D

You are most welcome!

Send me the link of your photos, would like to see them!

Hey, all the best with Pu La and do let me know on what you think.

The better thing would be, of course, to learn marathi and then read Pu La :-)
